Hey Maker is Grant Shanahan, Matt Galvin, Marky Na-Na, and Pete Kelly.

I think it was Matt's idea to make this record, but instead of doing covers we'd borrow the titles and write our own. The problem of course is that there's 4 of us, and 7 songs.

Enter our good mates Worth Wagers, Bek-Jean Stewart, Perry Keyes, and Claire Fearon.

The songs were drawn out of a hat, and we went away and came up with what we could. Grants initial effort was ruled ineligible when we realised it was an old Honeys demo with a dodgy overdub. And thank fuck for that, because his real song is an absolute pearler.

Hey Maker have been a band since 1999. In that time we've played 2 gigs, recorded 3 albums and a live EP of inept covers, and released none of them. That changes today.
